It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Fashu Dora Collier aged 93 years. She was the much loved Principal of the Methodist Girls High School for 26 years from 1959 to 1985 and the widow of Dr. Gershon B. O. Collier Esq. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Beloved, Life is short and we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those who make the journey with us. So... let's be swift to love one another and make haste to be kind to each other.

God holds the power of life over death, and He is the true salvation. This is our only hope and comfort in this temporary life. So teach us Lord to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (Psalm 90:12 “We’ve no abiding city here.”

May the blessing of the One who made us, who travels with us, and loves us dearly, be with us, especially the Collier family, Cummings family, Brown family and MGHS family, this day and always.

We love her, but Jesus loves her best. Good night to our beloved principal. Sleep on and take your rest!

You have fought the good fight, and have finished the race, You have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day—and not only to you, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Eternal Rest grant unto Mrs. Fashu Collier O Lord; And may light perpetual shine upon her. Amen.
